And May here we are! Here is our usual monthly update! Boiling Steam looks at the latest data dumps from ProtonDB to give you a quick list of new games that work (pretty much?) perfectly with Proton since April 2021 – all of them work out of the box or well enough with tweaks:

• Portal Reloaded – 33 reports
• ROUNDS – 5 reports
• Before Your Eyes – 4 reports
• Cozy Grove – 4 reports
• The Slormancer – 3 reports
• SaGa Frontier Remastered – 3 reports
• The Binding of Isaac: Repentance – 3 reports
• NGU INDUSTRIES – 3 reports
• Emily is Away – 3 reports

Portal Reloaded looks like a great rendition of the original Portal with the engine of Portal 2! Nostalgic RPG games will recognize the old SaGa Frontier in this list: a very good game but they are being quite greedy pricing-wise for such an old title.

Note, we did report that Nier Replicant worked well on Proton a few days ago, but it seems like there’s some serious issue going on with cutscenes at the end of Chapter 1 making the game break on Proton currently – therefore you won’t see it on this list for now. Till next month!
